To my friend and the great artist Xiao Luo

In May 2009 we met and since it has been such a great pleasure to see his fast and extremely good development both as an artist and as a human being.

Let me first of all state that Xiao Lou is an outstanding artist talent, one that is hardly born more then a few each century in the whole world.

Combined with his extreme capacity of hard working this has resulted in even greater achievements of technical and artistic brilliance when he now is working with themes of Chinese Mythology and his own world of artistic fantasy.

Human beings, animals and nature merge under his fingers as he models in clay his free artist soul's expression of innermost feelings.

Xiao Lou then chooses the most difficult materials to cast his sculptures not only in bronze but also in stainless steel to utter perfection.

Meeting with Xiao Lou is always a great pleasure and I very much look forward to the next time when we will meet, share a meal and talk about art, artists and the world with this humble and genuinely sensitive and generous personality who always is the next to help when there is need.

致我的朋友和伟大的艺术家小罗

从2009年有幸结识他开始，我们就开始了频繁的合作和交往，我非常高兴的目睹了他快速和良好发展的过程，无论是作为一个艺术家，或者是一个人。

首先，我要说，小罗是一个杰出的艺术家，一个在世界艺术史上几个世纪都难以出现的现象级的艺术家。

他不仅仅有着过人的天赋和能力，还能结合自己不懈的努力，使得他在技术和艺术的领域取得了巨大的成就和辉煌。他现在的工作主题，是用艺术幻想来构筑中国的神话框架和自己眼中的世界。

无论是人类，动物或者自然，都会恰到好处的融合在他的手指下，他不是在用黏土来制作模型，而是在表达内心的独属于艺术家的那份自由。

小罗的天赋和勇气总是让他选择最困难的创作，就像他总是选择最复杂的材料一样，除了用青铜和不锈钢，他甚至用上了匪夷所思的茶叶来造就雕塑的完美……

与小罗的每一次会面都是一个伟大的乐趣，因为他让我总是期待下一次新的发现。我满足于和他的每一次美食和艺术交织的交往，从对艺术的谈论中，我总能在他身上找到艺术家对待世界的那份谦逊和真诚，也能充分体会到他作为艺术家的敏锐感觉和激烈个性。而他的慷慨和无私帮助也总能让每一个接近他的人被感动。

我真诚的祝愿小罗在他的一生里，得到最好的未来和运气、获得与他能力天赋勤奋相配的伟大的成功。
