上苑艺术馆，作为全球最大的非盈利性艺术驻留机构，意在构筑艺术的桥梁，不仅增进外国艺术家与中国艺术家之间艺术创作、思想观念上的相互了解，而且为艺术家创造对于其他类型艺术的跨界认识的机会，相互吸收、相互碰撞，启迪创作的灵感，推进艺术探索的深度。 Shangyuan Art Museum is running one of the biggest non-profit art residency program in the world. We aim to establish a bridge between different disciplines of art. We do not only improve the understanding of art and related ideas between foreign and Chinese artists, but also try to create a space where artists from different disciplines can come together to know each other, draw inspiration from each other, and in the end, deepen their understanding and further their artistic exploration.
