Nowadays, the human beings have already got used to put reason and science at the supreme point of their recognition. They ask and dissect the world in different ways for “truth” and “rules”, and build up huge thinking system. However, if we see it from one other direction, we can see that a “system” is a frame we set by ourselves. It is like a barrier that keeps things beyond social order and knowledge order. At the same time, our “knowledge system” keeps shaping our thinking mode. Is it necessary to see everything a process of genesis with order to be found? We probably always have to think over the direct relation among human beings, the mansion of knowledge, and the Nature.

In my works, I’ve applied many normal manufacturing methods, and forced groups of images in different systems to be dismantled or grafted on one another, so as to make them in malposition and get the chance to re-assemble as alien things with absurd appearance. I show the forcing act in the mechanic installation in a constant speed. The repeated rolling of the machine shows a kind of strong and irreversible rule. To the audience, it is a process of passively reading and receiving. It is like the structure described above, and shows the dangerous and cruel world in a cold manner. It follows the time point of every piece strictly, but the results (images) presented deviated from the “logic” made by the time axis, so the paradoxes appear, and everything with extreme reason become insane.
