随着年龄增长，我喜欢的事物和希望表达的情绪还是会有所改变，比如看的电影慢慢从炫酷一类的大制作转向表达文艺与生活的类型，听的音乐也从强节奏的转向舒缓优美的旋律，自己的绘画也希望从展览上比较惹眼的大场面细节转变为淡雅一些耐看一点，多去表达情绪的追求协调的感觉。我觉得人的一生在不同阶段是需要进步的，在原地打转的方式是不能对自己允许的。但这种转变不是对之前系列的否定，而是也是与之前有一定传承关系的转变。从一个对未来充满幻想的男孩梦，经历了成长，懂得了情感与珍惜，懂得了迁就与出世的一些人生道理，回望品味那略微有点残酷的青春期里的点滴瞬间，对我的创作脉络来说是一种回归，人是会长大的，会从跳脱现实的虚拟世界回到真实的温度中，再细细品味不同人生阶段走过的路，从孩提到少年再到青春。将来还会一路前行，让作品去留住人生中的每一个匆匆擦肩而过的美好瞬间。
I consider myself fortunate throughout my artistic journey because I had a clear vision of my artistic quest from the very beginning. As I grow older, things that I like and emotions that I want to express change. For instance, my preference for big production blockbuster movies has gradually shifted to artistic films about life. My favourite music has changed from strong rhythmic music to light and soothing melodies. My paintings are moving from eye-catching detailed big scenes made for art exhibitions to graceful expressions with longer lasting impression that embody emotions and harmony. I believe that as we journey through different phases of life, we need to progress and not remain in the same spot. Such change is not a rejection of the past, but rather a continuation of it. As I grew from a young man filled with imagination of the future to a person seasoned by age, I had learned to value emotion and cherish appreciation, and I now understand more about tolerance and the philosophy of life. Looking back at my adolescent years is a homecoming for my artistic journey. Everyone grows. And being able to extricate oneself from fantasy to reality and taking time to appreciate the little things in various stages of life is indeed amazing. As we move forward, let art capture the fleeting beautiful moments in our lives.
