作品描述

Inspired by flamboyant color of the feather, I used both natural and chemosynthetic pigments, such as cinnabar, magenta to create a luminous, eye-catching visual effect. The way those flamingos looking from the water surface just like people reflect from the mirror. They think and stare just like us. From this work I also like to express the common emotions that animals and human both share.
The whole work makes up of four unequal screens which refer to the traditional screen form in Chinese painting. Each screen can be viewed both individually and as a whole.
创作《弗朗明戈》名称取自flamingo火烈鸟的音译，同时也象征西班牙弗朗明戈舞蹈表达的热烈与自由。
