Comments: This is Nachuan’s first 3D sculpture, which is inspired by his previous charcoal self-portrait. It’s a very challenging project to him due to the wide range of materials used. Nachuan was introduced to various techniques of building the armature for the sculpture, paper mache, casting, and sculpting with clay. Nachuan tried many times in order to get both of his hands casted successfully. Although the project took a long time to finish, Nachuan worked hard and managed to gain a more dimensional vision in his artistic practice. The final presentation is highly finished with a strong narrative.
