作品描述

在一个图像时代，在恐惧被商品化，信息被私有化的时代，当你在早晨的地铁上阅读新闻时，冲突的性爱和死亡的欲望碰撞在一起。这部作品反映了一种对后现代、后真相、后漠不关心时代的人来说再熟悉不过、也麻木不过的现象：在这个时代，分裂和不安全感被主体揉进了生产机器，主体通过自己的消费带来了恐惧的心理。

The newspaper series is a work which involves the simple act of drawing circles on a newspaper. Drawing, drilling, cutting, stripping, layer after layer until a visual nerve is struck. In an age of images, in a time in which fear is commodified, information privatised, where conflictual sex and death drives collide whilst reading the news on your morning subway ride, this work reflects a phenomenon all too familiar, numbingly so, to man in the post-modern, post-truth, post-give a shit era: one in which division and insecurity are mangled into the production machine by the subject, who brings the psyche of terror into being through their own consumption.
