作品《尖沙咀碼頭的記憶》闡述：

我在香港長大,對香港有一種特別的感情。這幅畫的主角是粉紅色調的小女孩——就像是童年的我。小時候，媽媽經常帶我到尖沙咀碼頭看日落，富豪雪糕車總是伴隨著《藍色多瑙河》的音樂出現在我面前。記憶中我拉著媽媽的裙子接過美味的香滑軟雪糕，吹著的舒服溫柔的海風，牽著粉紅色的氣球，穿著漂亮的粉紅色公主裙子，這是多麽快樂的童年記憶。我希望溫馨的氣息借著這幅作品分享出來，希望觀眾與我一起體會香港、尖沙咀碼頭、和富豪雪糕的味道。

余志雯畫的《尖沙咀碼頭的記憶》是一幅描繪香港風情的作品，作品通過富豪雪糕車前的景象，集中表現了具有代表性的香港特色，通過小女孩天真可愛的笑容，使畫面洋溢著幸福美滿的氣息。作者很好地運用了暖色調和重彩技法，以及工筆畫精微的細節刻畫，惟妙惟肖，是一幅表現當今香港特色的優秀的現實主義題材的主題性創作。

Artwork description
I, who grew up in Hong Kong, have a special feeling of it. The protagonist of the painting is the little girl in pink-- the situation is like my childhood.
When I was a little girl, Mother often took me to see the sunset at Tsim Sha Tsui pier. A Regal soften lorry accompanied by the music "The Blue Danube" always appeared before me. In my memory, I wore a pretty pink princess dress, having a pink balloon in hand and pulling Mother's skirt. Getting a delicious ice-cream and enjoying comfortable gentle sea breezes contribute to the memory of my happiest childhood.
I wish to make use of the warm atmosphere exuded from the painting to share with audience my feelings of Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui pier and Regal Soften. This is the memory of all Hongkoners.
Tutor comment:
the memory of the Star Ferry, was painting by Yu Chi Man painting, which depicted the Hong Kong style. The works through the scene in front of the Mister soften, to collectively perform the representative features of the Hong Kong. Through the little girl’s innocent and lovely smile, so that the picture filled with a happy atmosphere. The author made the best use of the warm colors and Re-color techniques. And the detail drawing’s details was exquisite description. It is a thematic creation, which is an excellent modernist theme to perform Hong Kong specialty.
