創作理念：遵重客觀，质疑过去，創新未来。
以“自然與科學”为主题描寫人與社会的自然關係，“巽”作為符號是人與自然狀態，“坤道”人与物質通过“風聲”顯像的内心變化。“傳說、禅說”是對人雲亦雲的质疑。“一根筋”，本性活生的传统文化精神、是承前啓後的脉络。
作品被北京民生銀行、香港游艇会、香港、日本、美國、韓國、台灣等國内機構、畫廊、及北京、上海、山东等個人收藏共有一千多幅。
出版：《楊巽榮油畫集》北京華藝出版社出版發行。
